Terms and Conditions for Consumers

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all orders and deliveries between Animal Deli d.o.o., Horvatova ulica 80 A, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia (hereinafter referred to as “Animal Deli”) and its customers via the online store at www.animaldeli.com.

2. Orders, Contract Formation, Documentation, Quantity Restrictions, and Resale

Order Process

• Animal Deli offers an extensive range of pet products. Customers can view product details, including design, size, or flavor, by clicking on the product or article name on the product page. Selecting the desired quantity and clicking “Add to Cart” places the product in a virtual shopping cart.

• By clicking the “Cart” button in the top right corner of the website, customers are directed to an overview page where they can review and modify the items in their cart.

• To complete a purchase, customers click the “Proceed to Checkout” button. Registered customers can log in with their email address and password, while new customers can register or proceed as guests by entering their address and payment information on the following page.

• By clicking “Place Order,” customers submit a binding offer to purchase.

• Animal Deli does not charge fees for electronic communication; however, customers may incur charges from third-party service providers (e.g., mobile carriers or internet providers).

3. Formation of a Purchase Agreement

a. Products in the online store are sold exclusively to non-commercial private individuals, not businesses or commercial entities. Offers displayed on www.animaldeli.com are not intended for businesses or resale purposes.

b. Product images are for illustration purposes only and do not constitute a binding sales offer. Customers place a binding offer by completing the checkout process and clicking “Place Order.” An automated order confirmation email follows but does not signify acceptance of the offer. The purchase agreement is formed when Animal Deli ships the product and confirms delivery via email.

c. For prepayment, the agreement is concluded when Animal Deli sends the payment information within 24 hours of the order. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the payment information and must be completed within 7 days. Orders are automatically canceled if payment is not received within the specified timeframe.

d. The contract language is the local language of the country where the order is placed.

Contract Documentation

The contract text is stored until the order is fully processed and archived according to tax and trade laws. Customers will receive an email confirmation containing key contract details, including applicable terms and conditions.

Quantity Restrictions and Resale

Animal Deli sells products only in household quantities to adults. Resale of purchased products is not permitted.

Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices include statutory VAT but exclude shipping costs. For orders outside the EU, customs duties and taxes may apply and must be borne by the customer.

4. Delivery

Deliveries are limited to specified markets. Unless otherwise stated, delivery occurs within 4 to 8 business days. In the case of prepayment, the timeline begins once payment is received.

For unavailable products, Animal Deli may provide partial deliveries at no extra cost. If delivery is impossible due to supplier issues beyond Animal Deli’s control, Animal Deli may withdraw from the contract and refund payments.

5. Retention of Ownership

Products remain the property of Animal Deli until full payment is received.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without providing a reason. To exercise this right, customers must notify Animal Deli via email at info@animaldeli.com.

7. Warranty and Liability

Statutory warranty provisions apply. Customers are advised to consult a veterinarian before using CBD-infused pet food. Animal Deli is not liable for adverse effects resulting from improper use without veterinary consultation.

8. Payment Methods

Animal Deli accepts various payment methods, including bank transfers, credit/debit cards, PayPal, Klarna, and Apple Pay. Payment terms and conditions vary by method.

9. Data Protection

Animal Deli is committed to protecting customer data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

10. Marketing and Communication

Animal Deli may use customer email addresses for marketing similar products unless the customer opts out.

11. Subscription Terms

Animal Deli offers subscription options for eligible products, allowing customers to automate orders at regular intervals. Subscriptions have no fixed term and can be modified or canceled at any time.

12. Online Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Animal Deli is not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings.

13. Final Provisions

Croatian law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
