Increased interest in cannabis products for dogs
"Cannabis oil to treat pain or behavioral problems in dogs is becoming increasingly popular among Danish dog owners, despite the fact that it is illegal for veterinarians to prescribe it to animals. "I see an increasing trend in Sweden as well. More and more pet owners are asking for CBD products, says veterinarian Henrik Rönnberg."
"There are some studies that show that it can have an effect on dogs. In addition, society as a whole has adopted a more liberal attitude towards cannabis products and the availability of these preparations has increased. This also applies to animals," says Henrik Rönnberg, professor of veterinary pharmacology at Swedish University of Agriculture.
