Animal Farm is a small family-owned farm located outside Åkersberga in Roslagen. We run organic lamb farming as well as a small dog and cat boarding house in the countryside but only 45 minutes from Stockholm.

The farm has chickens and sheep that provide fantastic eggs, meat and skin. We also sell sheep and lamb skins as well as beautiful handicrafts made from our own skins.

My name is Karin and I have been running Animal Farm since 2000. I have spent my whole life working with animals in various ways. In the beginning it was mostly dogs, cats and horses, but over time sheep have also become part of life. I am a trained dog instructor and have also completed a dog psychology course.

Then sheep and herding dogs (Border Collie) came into the picture, that's enough (read dog training time is prioritized mostly for herding. The cooperation between dog - handler and sheep quickly becomes an addictive poison!! A Border Collie and 5 sheep quickly became three BC and 80 sheep. .

As I'm a rather restless soul (don't like to be still for long periods of time...) the combination fits - lots of walks with dogs and chasing runaway sheep very well!
